Ingredients :
(A)
1 medium-sized red onion, sliced to about 8 slices
2 garlic - sliced
3 red chillies - sliced
1 medium-sized tomato - cut to 4 pieces
(B)
2 cm belacan / trassi / shrimp paste - pan-fried without oil
1 tbs fried anchovies (optional)
1 tsp of sugar (depending on your taste)

Method:
1) Heat up some oil. Fry the ingredients (A) till soft. And let them cool.
2) Put ingredients (A) shrimp paste and fried anchovies into the blender,
Blend the ingredients.
3) Re-heat the remaining oil (might need to add a bit more) and fry the blended ingredients.
Add sugar to taste. (Salt - optional)
4) Squeeze some lime before serving.
Since the ingredients are all fried, it can be kept for up to one month in the fridge.
